Liebster Blog

I have received a lovely award for my blog from Charlotte!

The idea of the Leibster Blog Award is to spread the love from one small blog (under 200 followers) to other small blogs. This helps to spread knowledge and readership.

It was a lovely surprise to receive this award from Charlotte, Thank You so much!

To accept the award, you have to :

1. Link back to the person who gave it and thank them for thinking of you, Please pop over to her blog and have a look at her gorgeous creations!

2. Post the award on your blog.

3. Give the award to 5 bloggers (with less than 200 followers) that you appreciate.

4. Leave a comment on the blogs of the 5 people you have chosen to let them know.

It wasn´t easy to choose only 5 blogs as there are so many talented crafters out there, but finally I decided to give it to these talented ladies:

Deb - Deb's Paper Creations

Julie - Paper Stamps Inks and Flowers

Denise - Passion for Paper

Shell - Tale's of Michelle

Suzie - Suzie McFloozy's Musings

Please go and visit these talented ladies and their blogs to look at all the lovely projects!

Magnolia Down Under - Bon Voyage

Good Morning Everyone,

Time for another challenge at Magnolia Down Under and this week we'd like to see your use your Magnolia Bon Voyage stamps... if you don't have any don't worry because any stamp will be okay if you have a travel or Good Bye theme! Our lucky winner this week will also have a chance to join us as a Guest DT for May.

I've chosen this cute little Asian Tilda and decided to make a bookmark. My paper is from Creations in Paper who recently closed their storefront and are now web based only. The metal corner and poppies are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I've used my Magnolia DooHickey with them. The tiny paper flowers were coloured with copics and I've added a small pearl to their centre. I've also made a window from vellum behind Tilda and added a little dragon fly charm which is more visible in the pic below.

I'd like to enter my bookmark into these challenges:-

Hi everyone,

I just received a message from my thoughtful DT friend at Colour Create ~ Mina who's asked us to spread the word about her lovely friend called Steph who is running the Belfast Marathon on the 7th May in aid of the Macmillan Cancer support.

To quote Mina "her life and the life of her family have been touched by this horrendous disease and Macmillan helped them to get through it...there is not one of us who hasnt been touched in some way by it and the Macmillan support are amazing and so deserve our help...Steph is going to be dragging herself all that way around the marathon bless her but is really struggling for donations...heres the link to her just giving site and you can even donate using paypal (thats what I did)...even 50p/cent or £/$1 in fact any amount would be fantastic...thank you all so much"

As an added bonus Mina has a fabulous candy on offer that you can enter and as an added bonus if you donate she will let you enter again! Congratulations Mina on the 1500 followers :)

Here is the link to Mina's Blog, so if you can help by way of donation or help by spreading the word on your blog I'm sure Mina and Steph would really appreciate it. If you wish to donate follow this link to Steph's page.

Happy Birthday Allan

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick post of the card I made for my bosses 60th Birthday! His two main loves are tennis and fishing and I had the two Edwins that I want to use but could work out how to use them both on the card. I really left it until the last minute to work it out but I think this worked out okay :)

I used the fishing Edwin image on the outside of the card, complete with the message in a bottle!

The inside of the card features this pop up image of Tennis Edwin :-

I must apologize for the quality of the photos but we were heading out to celebrate just as I finished the card and it was getting very late and quite dark :(

I'd like to enter my card in these challenges:-

Midweek Magnolias - Use 2 Characters
Papertake Weekly - A Stitch in Time
Cupcake Craft Challenge - In the Deep End
